Adding Oopbuy next to LitBuy: what a German buyer gains, pays and has to check

Checked and updated .

Short answer: Oopbuy can buy whatever a LitBuy row points to, and German buyers search for it far more than for LitBuy: about 74,000 monthly searches against 22,200 (Semrush, September 2026). Oopbuy's site lists PayPal at 4.5% + $0.30 and its Trustpilot score is withdrawn. LitBuy's cheapest 1 kg German line listed at €24.12 ($27.10) on 19 October 2026; run Oopbuy's estimator for the same weight and compare.

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card adds LitBuy's 19 October 1 kg list price for its cheapest tax-free line to Germany (€24.12) to the item price, so you see a rough landed figure before you open the link. A new selection appears every month.

Why Germany searches Oopbuy three times more than LitBuy

Oopbuy is the most-searched shopping agent in Germany in the Semrush keyword export we hold (September 2026): roughly 74,000 searches a month from Germany, where LitBuy gets 22,200. Germany alone supplies roughly 55% of Oopbuy's 135,400 global searches. France runs the other way, with 4,400 for Oopbuy and 12,100 for LitBuy.

France4,40012,100
United Kingdom8,1006,600
United States22,2008,100

A search count is not a quality score. It says a friend's spreadsheet is probably an Oopbuy sheet, and nothing about fees or reliability. For German parcel rules on the LitBuy side, our Berlin delivery page goes through DHL lines, Zoll notices and Klarna.

Oopbuy dominates German search, which is a reason to know it and not, by itself, a reason to prefer it.

Oopbuy beside LitBuy, one line at a time

Oopbuy's cells come from its own site as read on 6 October 2026, unless marked as rechecked on 19 October. On the LitBuy side, every cell is from its help pages and estimator as of 19 October. An empty fact is stated as empty.

Both agents publish a 90-day clock, so moving a row between them does not move your storage deadline. What differs is how late days are billed and how much each says up front. The LitBuy fees page lists every LitBuy line in detail.

On published terms the two are close; the gaps are in what Oopbuy leaves unpublished where we looked.

PayPal at 4.5% + $0.30: the arithmetic on a small payment

Oopbuy's own site lists PayPal at 4.5% plus $0.30, so the percentage bites hardest on small payments. The three figures below use hypothetical payments, not Oopbuy quotes.

Oopbuy PayPal fee on three hypothetical payments

$20 payment: fee $1.206.0% of the payment

$50 payment: fee $2.555.1% of the payment

$100 payment: fee $4.804.8% of the payment

LitBuy publishes no percentage for any channel. Its interface says payment-channel handling fees are subsidised and shown at checkout, and one Trustpilot reviewer on 17 October 2026 claimed processing fees above 10% on every payment, which we could not verify. The practical test is to start both checkouts for the same basket and read the last line. On either agent, keep to pay per order: one payment for each order, one for each parcel, made on placing it. Our LitBuy payment page covers Klarna currency and the PayPal address rule.

A PayPal or card dispute locks a LitBuy account until the chargeback is cancelled; Oopbuy's rule for disputes is not in our notes, so ask its support before relying on one.

Compare final checkout totals; a percentage in a footer is only half the answer.

Moving one row between LitBuy and Oopbuy

Both agents merely wrap the marketplace's own item number, which is what identifies the row. We have not verified an Oopbuy product-link format, so the safe route is the original marketplace link, pasted into Oopbuy's search box, which invites a product name or link on its homepage (checked 19 October 2026).

  1. Copy the LitBuy link, for example https://www.litbuy.com/product/1/972753749417. The 1 stands for Taobao (the other codes: 0 for 1688, 2 for Weidian, 3 for JD) and 972753749417 is the item ID.
  2. Rebuild the original: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=972753749417. Weidian originals look like https://weidian.com/item.html?itemID=<id> and 1688 originals like https://detail.1688.com/offer/<id>.html.
  3. Paste that address into Oopbuy's search box, then set its price, size options and seller shipping against the LitBuy page.
  4. To go back, paste the original into LitBuy's search, or type litbuy.com/product/1/<id> yourself. An inviteCode in a sheet link belongs to the sheet's maker; deleting it does not break the link.

Our link converter builds the LitBuy half for you from a marketplace link.

Keep the item ID, not the agent wrapper, and a row can change agents in under a minute.

The same 1 kg parcel on the LitBuy side

The figures below are LitBuy's estimator quotes for a parcel to Germany, taken on 19 October 2026. The €3 EU prepayment is already inside the quote (it is the ¥24 line), so only the new €2 fee is added.

LitBuy, 1,000 g to Germany, LIT-Economy-DHL-DE

List price (tax-free line, 10 to 15 working days)€24.12 ($27.10)

EU fee added for any parcel submitted from 25 October€2.00

Total at list price€26.12

With the new-user promotion the estimator showed €18.29 for the same line, so €20.29 with the fee. Run Oopbuy's estimator for 1 kg to your own postcode and set its total beside these lines: same weight, a tax-free line, a comparable delivery window. Our LitBuy shipping cost page shows the 500 g and 2 kg quotes as well.

Price the same weight on both estimators on the same day, since line prices move.

Who should keep Oopbuy as the second agent

Our HipoBuy page covers an agent whose help centre uses the same template.

  • Add it if your friends' sheets are Oopbuy sheets and you want fewer link rebuilds.
  • Add it if Wise or Klarna matters to you and you will read the PayPal percentage first.
  • Skip it if you expect a visible Trustpilot score; Oopbuy's was withdrawn.
  • Skip it for long storage: both agents publish 90 days, and neither is a place to leave items.
  • Check the address yourself: lookalike domains exist, so type oopbuy.com rather than following a pasted link.

Prefer a single account? Our WhatsApp QR code, found on the contact page, leads to a delivered-price service with photos before dispatch.

Oopbuy earns a place as a cross-check agent, not as a place to leave money or items.

Questions buyers ask

Is it worth holding Oopbuy and LitBuy accounts at once?

Often yes, provided you pay per order. A second agent lets you price the same Taobao or Weidian item twice and spot differences in the checkout total. Both publish 90 days of free storage, so neither gives you extra time. Do not split one parcel between them, because each agent can only ship what sits in its own warehouse.

What do 74,000 German searches for Oopbuy actually tell me?

Semrush data for September 2026 shows roughly 74,000 searches a month from Germany for Oopbuy, versus 22,200 for LitBuy. It tells you that German sheets and threads mention Oopbuy a lot, so you will meet its links often. It does not measure fees, speed or reliability, so compare the checkout total before choosing.

How much does PayPal cost on a $50 Oopbuy payment?

Oopbuy's own site lists PayPal at 4.5% plus $0.30, which makes $2.55 on a $50 payment, or 5.1% of it. On $100 it is $4.80 and on $20 it is $1.20. LitBuy publishes no per-channel percentage, so open both checkouts for the same basket and compare the final totals before paying.

Can I paste an Oopbuy link into LitBuy?

Not reliably. We have not verified Oopbuy's product-link format, so do not assume LitBuy will read it. Find the original Taobao, Weidian or 1688 link behind the row, or take the item ID and type litbuy.com/product/1/ followed by the ID for Taobao. The link converter on this site does that rebuild for LitBuy.

What does a withdrawn Trustpilot score on Oopbuy mean for me?

On 5 October 2026 Oopbuy's Trustpilot page showed 971 reviews but no score, and we could not verify why it was withdrawn. LitBuy's page is in the same state with 587 reviews on 19 October 2026. Read the most recent one-star reviews on each page and look for repeated complaints, not for a number.

Is the Oopbuy site I found the real one?

Check the domain letter by letter. Our notes say lookalike domains exist for Oopbuy, and its operator is named as Openbuy Technology HK Limited. Type oopbuy.com yourself, ignore links in direct messages and pay per order, which limits any wrong site to a single payment. The same habit protects you on LitBuy's real domain, litbuy.com, too.
