A code that pays the sender, not the receiver
An invitation code is a referral. When you register through someone's link or code, LitBuy ties your account to that person, and they earn commission on what you spend. LitBuy's help centre says only that if you are registering through someone else's invitation link or code, you should enter it before submitting the form. It does not describe any extra benefit to the new user.
The benefit most new buyers want, a cheaper first parcel, comes from the welcome banner shown to everyone. On 19 October 2026 that was "Sign Up & Get 40% OFF Shipping Coupon", and our LitBuy coupon page shows it cut a 1 kg German parcel by 24%. LitBuy's code also contains older lines about a $165 coupon bundle for invited friends, but we cannot tell when those apply. So the honest answer to "does a code save me money?" is: no documented extra, and no harm in entering one.
Expect the code to benefit its owner; your discount comes from the welcome banner.
Entering a code at sign-up
The registration flow is short, and the one detail that matters is the order.
- Click Sign Up at the top of the LitBuy homepage.
- Fill in your email and password. Use an address you check often, because order and parcel messages go there.
- Enter the invitation code before you submit. LitBuy's help centre warns about exactly this step, and it does not say whether a code can be added afterwards.
- Submit, then check Wallet, then Coupon, for the welcome coupon.
Placing the first order is covered in how to order on LitBuy. Pay for each order and parcel when you place it, and do not load money in advance because a code or banner makes the account look generous.
Enter the code before you press submit, and check your coupons straight away.
What the code owner earns, by level
LitBuy's affiliate interface describes commission in three parts: freight commission on parcels, product commission on items, and an extra slice when your invitees invite others. The freight rate depends on the promoter's level, which rises with the shipping paid by invited users.
| Level | Invited users' shipping reaches | Commission on parcel shipping |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 | ¥0 | 4.5% |
| Level 2 | ¥5,000 | 5% |
| Level 3 | ¥20,000 | 5.5% |
| Level 4 | ¥150,000 | 6% |
Three further rules sit around the table. Product commission is usually 1% of the invitee's actual payment for items, excluding shipping, and covers all purchases made within 7 days after the invitee registers. If an invitee invites a new user who ships a parcel, the promoter earns an extra 2% on that parcel's shipping; LitBuy's own example, a level 4 promoter with ¥200,000 of direct shipping and ¥10,000 of second-level shipping, earns ¥12,200. And commission is calculated on the amount actually paid, after coupons and promotions are deducted. One interface string gives a different range, 2%–6% by V1–V5, and we could not reconcile it with the four-level list above.
The owner earns 4.5–6% of the shipping you pay, after coupons, plus about 1% on early item purchases.
Worked example: one invitee's first parcel
Assume a level 1 promoter and an invitee who buys three items for ¥527 and ships 1 kg to Germany. The shipping base is LitBuy's 19 October 2026 breakdown for LIT-Economy-DHL-DE: ¥177.52 list. The banner coupon cut about ¥43 in our maths, leaving ¥134.55. Whether the ¥24 EU prepayment and the operation fee count toward commission is not stated; we assume the whole paid amount does.
Promoter's commission, level 1 (¥1 ≈ €0.12)
Freight: 4.5% of ¥134.55 paid after the banner coupon¥6.05 (€0.73)
Product: 1% of ¥527 of items¥5.27 (€0.63)
Total for this invitee¥11.32 (€1.36)
Without the coupon the freight line would be ¥7.99 (€0.96). At level 4 and 6% it would be ¥8.07 (€0.97) after the coupon. To earn €10 from such parcels at level 1, about eight invitees would each need to ship one. That is why most posted codes read like a sales pitch: the sender earns small amounts per person and needs volume.
One typical invitee pays the promoter about €1.36, which explains who really benefits.
When commission is not paid, and what that means for you
The conditions protect LitBuy and also affect you, because a cancelled parcel cancels the sender's commission. LitBuy says freight commission is recorded when you pay, settled only after you have received the parcel with no after-sales problem, and not paid if a parcel is cancelled. The affiliate agreement adds that settlement is recalculated after delivery confirmation or 45 days after delivery, and that bonuses can be deducted later if a refund or compensation follows. Withdrawals are limited to two a month, resetting at 00:00 on the 1st, and taxes are the affiliate's own.
No bonus is paid when the affiliate orders for themselves, or issues rebate advertisements. Promoting other cross-border shopping platforms loses the qualification, and registering multiple accounts is a listed violation. None of this changes your own order, but it explains why sensible posters disclose that a code is a referral. The LitBuy legit check covers the rest of the company picture.
Your parcel is untouched by the programme; only the sender's payout depends on your cancellations.
Creators and sharing: the programme's own rules
LitBuy runs a separate creator route. Its interface asks creators to submit the platform, the post or video URL and the invite code; for TikTok the invite ID goes in as a hashtag. After approval, rewards are paid into the Coins part of the wallet, not as cash. A comment under a post must carry the invite link or a product link, so that users who register and buy through it are attributed. If you are reading a haul post or a spreadsheet comment thread, assume any code in it is that kind of link. A creator who discloses it plainly is playing by the rules; one who calls it an official discount is not.
Read every shared code as an attributed link, and prefer posters who say so.
Einladungscode: where to enter it and what it is worth
People who search "LitBuy Einladungscode" want a field at registration. In Germany, about 70 searches a month use the word, per Semrush data for September 2026, so the topic is small but persistent. The code goes into the registration form before you submit, and it is a referral to the sender, not a coupon. For savings, use the welcome banner and read the LitBuy fees page: on a 1 kg parcel to Germany, LitBuy quoted €24.12 on 19 October 2026, so a commission of 4.5% on that is about €1.08 for the sender. The code does not change your price.
For German buyers an Einladungscode is a referral link, not a discount.
Code d'invitation: the same rule for French sign-ups
For "code d'invitation LitBuy" the rules are the same in France. There is no French-only code and no official list of codes. A referral link or code ties your account to the sender at registration, and the sender earns on your shipping and on your item purchases in the first seven days. Whether you enter one or not, the welcome coupon is shown to all new users. For questions about your own account, the LitBuy customer service page lists support routes, and for a route without any LitBuy account, our contact page has a WhatsApp QR for a quoted, photographed, pay-per-order purchase.
In France too, the code rewards whoever shared it, not the new user.
Questions buyers ask
Can I register on LitBuy without any referral code?
Yes. LitBuy's registration needs only an email address and a password. The help centre adds that if you are registering through someone's invitation link or code, you should enter the code before submitting the form. The welcome coupon is advertised to all new users, with 40% off shipping on the banner we saw on 19 October 2026, so skipping a code costs you nothing we can find.
Does a LitBuy invitation code give me an extra discount?
LitBuy does not say so. Its documents describe the code as a link to the person who invited you, who earns commission on your parcels and, for seven days after sign-up, on your item purchases. The welcome banner is shown to everyone. Treat any claim that a code adds a bonus as unverified, and do not pay anyone for one.
What percentage does a LitBuy promoter get on freight?
LitBuy's interface lists freight commission of 4.5%, 5%, 5.5% or 6% by promoter level, rising as the shipping paid by invited users reaches ¥0, ¥5,000, ¥20,000 and ¥150,000. Product commission is usually 1% of the amount invitees pay for items. Commission is calculated after coupons are deducted, so a coupon lowers the owner's share too.
How often can LitBuy affiliates withdraw their commission?
LitBuy limits withdrawals to two a month. If you exceed that, the withdrawal function locks and resets at 00:00 on the 1st of the month. Commission also has to be settled first: freight commission counts only after the invitee has received the parcel with no after-sales problem, so it can take weeks after a parcel ships to become withdrawable.
Can I use my own invitation code for my own orders?
No. LitBuy's affiliate agreement lists orders placed by the affiliate for themselves among the cases where no bonus is paid, and its penalty rules name registering multiple accounts as a violation. Using your own code can lose you the affiliate function and the earnings tied to it. Enter someone else's code or none.
Is an invitation code from Reddit or Discord safe to use?
The code itself is harmless, since it is entered at sign-up, but check where it came from. It is a referral code, so the poster earns from your orders, and an expired or mistyped code does nothing. Never share your password or give a code to anyone who asks you to log in for you. LitBuy's own channels are its Reddit and Discord.
