Jeans on a LitBuy spreadsheet: measure first, convert the size, then cost the pair to your door in euros

Checked and updated .

Short answer: To buy jeans from a LitBuy spreadsheet, measure a pair that fits, convert to centimetres (inches × 2.54), and match the listing's own size chart, not the label. LitBuy's inspection does not cover size error or colour difference, so ask for extra photos at ¥1 each. In our example one assumed straight pair cost about €45.20 to Germany, a bulky baggy pair about €63.43.

These product photos come from repbuysheet.com, which has 10,000+ products to choose from. Each card adds LitBuy's 19 October 1 kg list price for its cheapest tax-free line to Germany (€24.12) to the item price, so you see a rough landed figure before you open the link. The size method: from your own jeans to a number you can compare

Jeans are the row type where a spreadsheet helps least and measuring helps most. A label such as "32" means different things from one seller to the next, and LitBuy's help centre says its inspection does not cover size error. So the safest method starts at home: lay a pair of jeans that fit you flat and measure them, then compare those numbers with the size chart on the seller's listing. The LitBuy jeans size sheet (CSV) is a semicolon-separated file that opens cleanly in German Excel; use it to log your own measurements next to each row's chart.

  1. Measure a pair that fits. Waist across the top of the waistband, rise, inseam, thigh and leg opening, in centimetres, with the jeans laid flat and unstretched.
  2. Check how the chart is written. Some charts list a flat width and some a full circumference. If the waist number looks about half of what you expect, it is probably a flat width, so double it.
  3. Convert inches where you must. Multiply by 2.54. The table below gives common waist sizes.
  4. Add a margin for stretch only if the listing says the fabric stretches. If it does not say, do not assume it.
  5. Write the result in the sheet, with the date and the listing's own chart link.
Waist sizes in inches converted to centimetres (inches × 2.54)
Waist (inches)Full circumference (cm)If the chart is a flat width (cm)
3076.20about 38.1
3281.28about 40.6
3486.36about 43.2
3691.44about 45.7

This is arithmetic, not a LitBuy conversion: LitBuy does not publish a universal size table, and we have not audited how sellers write their charts. Treat the listing's chart as the authority and your own measured pair as the reference.

Measure a pair you own, match centimetres to the listing's chart, and ignore the label.

Flared, baggy, straight: what the fit name means in numbers

Fit names on a sheet are marketing words. What you can compare is a few measurements, and the ones that matter change with the cut. Searches such as "litbuy spreadsheet flared jeans" probably come down to the leg opening and the thigh, because those decide whether the pair looks as the photo does. The table shows which number to check per fit and what it does to the parcel.

Colour needs separate care. "Purple" or washed denim photographs differently under shop lights, and LitBuy's help lists colour difference as something its inspection does not cover. Ask for a daylight photo and compare it with the seller's picture. If the row comes from a sheet, check the sheet's note for the colour code, and read our LitBuy spreadsheet with QC guide for what the routine photos usually show.

Pick the two measurements that define the cut, and expect baggy pairs to cost more to post.

Denim in the QC photos: what to ask for

On arrival at its Xiamen warehouse, LitBuy checks the order, opens the parcel, weighs the item and photographs it. Routine photos are generally 3 to 6 (front, back, side or logo), and extra photos cost ¥1 each, about €0.12. The interface also mentions "3 free QC photos", and custom photos have sometimes been free as a promotion, so check what your account shows. For jeans, the useful extras are specific and cheap.

  • Waistband flat with a tape measure across the top edge, to compare with the chart.
  • Inseam with the tape from crotch seam to hem.
  • Leg opening measured at the hem; this settles the flared question.
  • Stitching and hardware close-ups on the rivets, zip and button.
  • The colour in daylight, if the seller's picture looks very different.

If the numbers do not match, you can request a return within 5 days (120 hours) after the item is stocked, provided the seller offers returns. Items with tags removed, second-hand items and custom-made items cannot be returned. The unconditional-return cost is shipping to the seller, the original seller shipping and a ¥5 service fee, so a mismatch caught early is the cheapest kind. Ordering your first jeans this way takes a few extra minutes and saves a second parcel.

Pay ¥1 for a measured photo before you pay €24 or more to ship a pair that may not fit.

Worked example: three jeans parcels to Germany, in euros

Billing uses whichever is larger, actual weight or volumetric weight. The volumetric figure is the parcel's three dimensions in centimetres multiplied and then divided by 8000 on most Tax free lines (LitBuy lists 6000 on EMS and EUB lines). We use LitBuy's quotes from 19 October 2026 on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE, which lists 10–15 working days and a 60×50×40 cm size limit: 1 kg is €24.12 ($27.10) and 2 kg is €38.75 ($43.53). Prices, weights and packed dimensions below are assumptions for this example, converted at ¥1 ≈ €0.12.

A. One straight pair (assumed 0.8 kg, packed 32×26×7 cm)

Jeans ¥159about €19.08

Volumetric 32×26×7 ÷ 8000 = 0.728 kg, actual 0.8 kg wins → 1,000 g quote€24.12

EU €2 handling fee, from 25 Oct 2026€2.00

Total to Germanyabout €45.20

B. Two straight pairs (assumed 1.6 kg, packed 32×26×14 cm)

Jeans 2 × ¥159 = ¥318about €38.16

Volumetric 32×26×14 ÷ 8000 = 1.456 kg, actual 1.6 kg wins → 2,000 g quote€38.75

EU handling fee€2.00

Total to Germany (about €39.45 per pair)about €78.91

C. One baggy pair (assumed 1.0 kg, packed 40×32×10 cm)

Jeans ¥189about €22.68

Volumetric 40×32×10 ÷ 8000 = 1.6 kg, volume wins → 2,000 g quote€38.75

EU handling fee€2.00

Total to Germanyabout €63.43

LitBuy's quote already contains the flat €3 EU customs prepayment, so it is not added twice. The baggy pair costs about €18.23 more than the straight pair for one extra fabric-heavy cut, and shipping is about 64% of its bill against about 58% for pair A. The ¥20 rehearsal parcel (about €2.40, plus materials) shows the real packed size before you pay shipping; with a bulky pair it can pay for itself. On a 6000-divisor line the same baggy pack would count as about 2.13 kg, above the largest weight we quoted. Our LitBuy shipping calculator handles other weights, and LitBuy rehearsal parcel explains the service.

A baggy cut can cost almost two thirds of its bill in postage; fold and weigh before you commit.

Jeans in Frankreich, den USA und Großbritannien: the same pair, other quotes

The same logic applies elsewhere; only the quote changes. On 19 October 2026 LitBuy's estimator quoted these cheapest Tax free lines for the weights used above:

LitBuy estimator list prices, 19 October 2026 (cheapest Tax free line per country)

FranceLIT-Quickly-GOFO-FR€23.75 ($26.68)€38.38 ($43.12)
United StatesFF-GOFO-US-2$37.41$65.92
United KingdomFF-Royalmail-GB-1£16.87 ($22.49)£28.44 ($37.91)

For German buyers, VAT and duty on LitBuy's Tax free lines are handled by LitBuy, and the €3 flat prepayment is inside the quote. Lines marked "Duties Payable by Recipient", such as HF-EMS-DE (€61.96 for 2 kg), mean German import VAT of 19% and any duty fall to you on delivery. French buyers face 20% TVA on non-prepaid lines. Our LitBuy shipping cost page lists every line we quoted.

Pair weight sets the quote, and the cheapest line differs by country, so price the pair for your own postcode.

Keeping a jeans list you can trust

A good jeans row needs more than a link. Record the marketplace item ID, the CNY price, the chart link, the leg opening, your assumed or measured weight and the date you tested the link. Dead rows show Chinese text 商品已下架 on LitBuy's page, so test each link through the LitBuy link converter before you plan a parcel; our LitBuy spreadsheets guide has the full dead-link test.

Pay per order, settling each order and each parcel as you place it, and avoid long storage. LitBuy keeps items free for 90 days and then charges a daily overdue fee of 0.2% of the price paid, at least ¥1 per item per day. No LitBuy account wanted? Our WhatsApp QR on the contact page gives one delivered price and photos before dispatch, paid per order.

Log the measurement, the chart and the date with every jeans row, and it will still be useful next month.

Questions buyers ask

How do I turn a US waist like W32 into the centimetres on a Taobao size chart?

Multiply inches by 2.54: a 32-inch waist is 81.28 cm and a 34 is 86.36 cm. Then check whether the chart lists a flat-lay width, which you would double for a full circumference. Compare against a pair of your own jeans measured flat. The listing's chart beats any label, because sellers differ and LitBuy does not publish a universal conversion.

Do baggy jeans cost more to ship than straight ones through LitBuy?

Often yes, because volume can outweigh the scale. On most Tax free lines LitBuy divides length × width × height by 8000. In our example an assumed 1.0 kg baggy pair packed at 40×32×10 cm counted as 1.6 kg, pushing it to the 2 kg quote of €38.75 against €24.12 for a compact straight pair.

Will LitBuy's QC tell me if the jeans are the wrong size?

Not reliably. LitBuy's help says inspection checks quantity, colour, size and specification against the order, but it does not cover colour difference or size error. Routine photos are generally 3 to 6, and extra photos cost ¥1 each. Ask for a waistband-flat shot with a tape measure, and compare the numbers yourself before the parcel is packed.

Can I send back jeans that do not fit after LitBuy receives them?

Only inside a short window. LitBuy's help allows a return request within 5 days (120 hours) of the item being stocked, if the seller accepts returns and the item is resalable. Tags removed means not returnable. A return that is not the seller's fault costs shipping to the seller, the original seller shipping and a ¥5 service fee, so check size first.

Is it cheaper per pair to order two pairs of jeans together?

In our worked example, yes: one straight pair came to about €45.20 delivered to Germany, while two came to about €78.91, or €39.45 per pair. The 2 kg quote of €38.75 covers two assumed 0.8 kg pairs, so shipping per pair fell from €26.12 to about €20.38. Weights here are assumptions, not measurements.

Are flared or purple jeans riskier to buy from a spreadsheet?

Colour and cut both depend on the listing. LitBuy's inspection does not cover colour difference, so a purple wash can look different on arrival, and flared legs are wider at the opening, which adds volume. Ask for a photo in daylight and measure the leg opening against the seller's chart. A spreadsheet row alone cannot settle either point.
