What is on the record about PandaBuy

PandaBuy was raided by Chinese police in April 2024 after brand-owner complaints, and our notes record that it never reopened. On 19 October 2026 pandabuy.com answered "upstream request failed" in a headless browser. We read no operator statement, refund process or support address, so there is nothing to claim from and nothing to wait for.

The name outlived the service because sheets are copied faster than they are checked. Money for any new order belongs with an agent that responds, paid per order, and never with a site that merely uses the old name. A raid is also a reminder that some rows in old sheets sold goods whose brand owners complained, so expect part of any such list to fail LitBuy's own rules; we explain the limits below, and our customs page adds the EU and US detail.

PandaBuy is a historic name; no live service stands behind it that we could verify.

Three rewrites an old sheet needs

First, the link: an agent address is dead, but the marketplace item inside it may live. Second, the price: anything from 2024 or earlier is stale until checked on the item's own page. Third, the duty note: many old sheets promise that small parcels pass duty free, and for the EU that no longer holds. Since 1 July 2026 a temporary flat €3 customs duty applies per tariff category in a parcel worth up to €150, and import VAT has applied from the first euro since July 2021: 19% in Germany, 20% in France.

Rewrite the link, the price and the duty note on every row, not just the link.

Reading the item number and rebuilding the link

1. Paste the link into the LitBuy link converter.
2. Or read it yourself: id= after item.taobao.com, itemID= after weidian.com, digits in a 1688 /offer/ address.
3. Add the code: https://www.litbuy.com/product/<code>/<id>, 0 for 1688, 1 Taobao, 2 Weidian, 3 JD.
4. Open and judge: a live page shows yuan price, stock and an arrival estimate; an empty frame means delisted.

Be ready to lose rows. Branded or trademark-infringing goods can be detained by customs, EU Regulation 608/2013 lets customs hold suspected infringing goods, and LitBuy's own prohibited list names goods that infringe trademarks or copyrights. Replace such rows with generic categories.

The number carries over; whether LitBuy will buy the item is a separate check.

Two rescued parcels, costed to Germany

Assume an accessories parcel of three rows at ¥45, ¥65 and ¥85, ¥195 in all or about €23.40 at ¥1 ≈ €0.12, weighing 0.5 kg or less, and a jackets parcel of two rows at ¥329 and ¥279, ¥608 or about €72.96, weighing 2 kg. LitBuy's estimator quoted €16.81 ($18.89) for 500 g and €38.75 ($43.53) for 2,000 g to Germany on LIT-Economy-DHL-DE on 19 October 2026, tax free, 10 to 15 working days.

The light parcel carries a high share of shipping against its goods, so merging it with the jackets would raise the weight above the quotes we have; run the estimator before deciding. See LitBuy shipping cost for the other quoted weights.

What to ask any agent you move to

PandaBuy's ending is the best argument for a short checklist. Before you fund a new agent, load its homepage and see that it answers; read its fee page and look for contradictions; note the free storage days and what happens afterwards; count the routine photos; and find out how it treats the EU's customs charges. LitBuy publishes each of these: 90 free days per item with a daily fee up to day 120, 3 to 6 routine photos, ¥1 per extra photo, and the flat €3 per EU parcel plus €2 from 25 October 2026.

Semrush's September 2026 data counts about 126,500 monthly searches for pandabuy worldwide, a large figure for an agent that closed in 2024.

Why do PandaBuy spreadsheets still circulate?

Sheets are copied far faster than they are updated, and the name still draws searches: about 126,500 a month worldwide in Semrush's September 2026 data, with 8,100 in Germany and 18,100 in the US. Many of those readers are holding an old list, which is why each row needs its link, price and duty note checked again.

How do I pull an item number out of a PandaBuy link?

We have no verified PandaBuy pattern, so look for the marketplace address inside: Taobao id=, Weidian itemID=, 1688 digits between /offer/ and .html. Paste the link into our converter or read it by hand, then build litbuy.com/product/ with code 1, 2 or 0. If the link holds only an internal number, search the product title.

Can LitBuy ship every row from a PandaBuy-era sheet?

Not necessarily. LitBuy's prohibited list includes goods that infringe trademarks or copyrights, and its disclaimer says branded products may face customs restrictions. EU customs can detain suspected infringing goods under Regulation 608/2013. A row that LitBuy will not buy or ship needs replacing, so read its notes before building a parcel plan around old finds.

What do two rescued parcels cost to Germany?

On our assumptions, accessories at ¥195 (about €23.40) in a 0.5 kg parcel total €42.21 with LitBuy's 500 g quote of €16.81 and the €2 fee. Jackets at ¥608 (about €72.96) in a 2 kg parcel total €113.71 at €38.75 plus €2. Together that is €155.92, of which €59.56 is shipping and fees, so check weights before you commit.

What did PandaBuy's 2024 prices look like against today's?

We hold no PandaBuy price data, so we cannot compare. What we can say is that a 2024 sheet predates the EU's €3 duty per category from 1 July 2026 and LitBuy's June 2026 flat €3 per parcel. Recheck each item price on its LitBuy page, which shows yuan and an approximate dollar figure, before you trust any old total.
